OLD DOMINION KC OF NOVA

GCH CH Trystyn Statesman Cactus Blue 

The Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern Virginia spring show is one of the major stops on the dog show calendar. This year’s iteration drew over 1900 dogs to Timonium MD. The seven who made it to judge Gloria Geringer’s final were the Welsh Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Trystyn Statesman Cactus Blue, the Black & Tan Coonhound, GCH CH Bayaway Jersey's Due Process Of Law, the Neapolitan Mastiff, CH Ironwood’s Paparazzi, the Sky Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the Shih Tzu, GCH CH Hallmark Jolei Rocket Power, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Barberry’s Take a Chance on Me, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Just A Little Crush.

Grabbing all those points was the BIS, the Springer, Maddux. Picking up the RBIS was the Corgi, Etta. It was the first BIS of the year for Maddux. Congratulations to breeders/owners Meghen Riese-Bassel & Sandra N Holmes, co-breeder Charles Bassel, owners Melanie Helms, Phil Gibson, & Susan B Doss, and handler Ryan Wolfe.
